On July 14, every single netlabel around the world is invited to join us in the first Netlabel Day ever, and you can be part of this. A netlabel works on the Internet to let you know about the best independent music, and for supporting independent musicians from all over the world... So it is time to celebrate it! Release free and independent music in high quality format from many participating labels from all around the world. Also a lot of unsigned and independent artists that will be releasing new and original stuff too, so there's a lot of free music coming! It doesn't matter if you like rock, electronic, noise or whatever. All styles are invited and every netlabel too.

Netlabel Day is an initiative by the Chilean netlabel M.I.S.T. Records. On July 14th, every single netlabel all over the world is invited to join in this special event. batenim netlabel will join this second edition 2016 presenting a new digital album by a great artist and it's proud to be represented in the event by Flooba with his new work "City of beasts". This new digital EP opposes moments and places distant and contrasting in the subjective tale of a summer: the first chapter takes the sound of animals that pervades the semi-deserted blocks of a city that empties, in a landscape that reverberates with alien voices and buzzing of industrial fans, perpetual background to the echo of rare human voices. The second chapter mixes the sounds of the flocks grazing in the surroundings of a small rural village with the animosity of the holiday-makers who flock to the church and the square on a radiant Sunday of August, to represent the now extinct epoch of man-animal coexistence and lost cultural references to a long-disrupted rural community. Registrations made in Bologna (Italy) Porto district, Via Asiago, at Magneti Marelli, between July and August 2016; Presa di Piedimonte Etneo (Ct-Italy) on Sunday, August 14, 2016 during the patronal celebrations in honor of Maria Ss. Delle Grazie.
Il nuovo album digitale "City of beasts" dell'artista catanese Flooba, oppone momenti e luoghi distanti e contrastanti nel racconto soggettivo di un'estate: il primo capitolo riprende il suono degli animali che pervade gli isolati semi deserti di una città che si svuota, in un paesaggio che riverbera di voci aliene e del ronzio di ventole industriali, sfondo perpetuo all'eco di rare voci umane. Il secondo capitolo mescola le sonorità delle greggi al pascolo nei dintorni di un piccolo borgo rurale con l'animosità dei villeggianti in festa che affollano la chiesa e la piazza in una radiosa domenica agostana, a rappresentare la ormai estinta epoca di convivenza uomo - animale e i perduti rimandi culturali di una comunità rurale da tempo disgregata. Registrazioni effettuate in Bologna (Italy) quartiere Porto, Via Asiago, presso la Magneti Marelli, tra il luglio e l'agosto del 2016; Presa di Piedimonte Etneo (Ct-Italy) domenica 14 agosto 2016 nel corso dei festeggiamenti patronali in onore di Maria Ss. delle Grazie.
