The second album of the artist Al Tarf from southern Italy is a fascinating and evocative musical tale of the missions of the Rover on the red planet Mars, which, at opposite poles and with different fates, scanned the Martian soil for more than a decade. The seven tracks that are part of the album “R.O.V.E.R.” have been recorded through the skilful use of Eurorack analog modular synthesizers where the alternation, the shaking and the manipulation of waves generate prolonged sounds, extended to infinity, creating atmospheres impossible to reproduce with other instruments. Fascinating and relaxing sounds that lead the listener’s mind and imagination on dreamlike and cosmic journeys. The production of this album makes use of the competent mixing of Fabio Badalamenti. Al Tarf gives us a second work of the highest level that will surely meet with the praise of lovers of the genre.
Il secondo album dell’artista Al Tarf del sud Italia è un racconto musicale affascinante ed evocativo della missione dei Rover sul pianeta rosso Marte che in poli opposti e con diverso destino scandagliarono e scandagliano il suolo marziano da oltre una decina di anni. I sette brani che fanno parte dell’album “R.O.V.E.R.” sono stati registrati attraverso l’uso sapiente di sintetizzatori modulari analogici Eurorack dove l’alternanza, lo sbattimento e la manipolazione di onde generano suoni prolungati ed estesi all’infinito creando atmosfere del tutto irriproducibili con altri strumenti. Sonorità fascinose e rilassanti che conducono la mente e la fantasia dell’ascoltatore verso viaggi onirici e cosmici. La produzione di questo album si avvale del competente missaggio di Fabio Badalamenti. Al Tarf ci regala una seconda prova di altissimo livello che sicuramente incontrerà il plauso degli amanti del genere.
